FOR ALL PARTICIPANTS

Thank you for joining us! You are part of a community of passionate professionals working to maximize the positive impact of generative AI technology while minimizing potential drawbacks.

If you cannot attend, please inform us by May 22nd so we can find a replacement. Last-minute changes are manageable, especially for panel discussions.

SPEAKER GUIDELINES

  • Presentation Format: 4-minute introduction maximum (with or without slides)

  • Slides: Maximum 6 slides with minimal text, due by May 31st

  • Panel Participation: Be concise, dynamic, opinionated, and authentic

  • Content Notes: No promotional content during panels; it's perfectly acceptable to say "next question" rather than speculating, as expertise in this rapidly evolving field is constantly changing

  • Mind the Hype: Cut through buzzwords and press for concrete examples and real-world applications

  • Address Ethical Concerns: Don't shy away from discussing responsible AI development and deployment

  • Bridge Knowledge Gaps: Ensure discussions remain accessible to audience members with varying technical backgrounds

  • Challenge Assumptions during panel: Question overly optimistic or pessimistic claims about the technology

  • Focus on Practical Impact: Steer conversations toward tangible business and societal implications rather than theoretical possibilities

JURY MEMBER INFORMATION

  • Two calls will be scheduled before the event (attendance at both is preferred but one is acceptable)

  • Art prize judging will be in-person on Monday 2d (15:00-18:00 in Renens or Prilly); Tech prizes will be judged online

  • Categories and awards will be determined by the jury, not the curator

  • Prize details (monetary awards or consulting services from partners) may be subject to change

  • The goal is to showcase at least 4-5 projects, not just select a single winner

  • Category winners will each receive a 4-minute mini-keynote opportunity

MODERATOR INFOS

  • A timer will be provided with an audio signal at the 4-minute mark

  • Linkedin group between speakers will be activated and track page created like this one

  • We can collaborate on questions, or you may have wild card if needed

  • Session topics will be shared in advance to help with audience attraction and speaker preparation

MODERATION BEST PRACTICES

  • Panoramai features executive-focused tracks, not academic or workshop sessions

  • Ensure Inclusivity: Create space for all panelists to contribute, especially those who may be less assertive

  • Balance Participation: Actively track speaking time to ensure all voices are heard

  • Manage Time Effectively: Time passes quickly in panels - be prepared to redirect conversations

  • Cut When Necessary: Don't hesitate to respectfully interrupt speakers who go too deep, even if the content is fascinating

  • Connect the Dots: Briefly summarize key points before transitioning to new speakers or topics

  • Audience questions: welcome, but please intervene if attendees begin sharing lengthy opinions, as time is limited and we want to ensure speakers have at least 10 minutes to share their expertise
